The résumé that once authenticated his judgment now does the work his analysis cannot — lending a **strategically self-defeating thesis** the authority of a marquee counterterrorism career — and that borrowed authority is being spent retail, one byline at a time at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft. He had the best seat on Earth from which to read the map. He is reading a **pre-silicon map** anyway, and selling the misreading to an institution that should know better. The architecture he is arguing against is not a proposal to be debated; it is **Pax Silica**, already declared in state language, already metabolizing as one body across two states that hold eighty-five percent of the world's Jewish population, already the substrate on which the West's survival in the contest with authoritarian scale will be decided.
